This is What Happens When You Put Cut Up Onions in Your Socks While You Sleep.

The bottom of your feet are powerful and direct access points to internal organs in your body through what is known as meridians in Chinese medicine.  These meridians are pathways to each organ with your body. Some people say that meridians do not exist within the body or at the bottom of the feet. For those that understand Chinese medicine you may know that the meridian system is very closely correlated with the nervous system.
If you believe you have nerves and a nervous system, you believe you have meridians too, it’s basically the same thing when you interpret it and look at where the meridians are within the body.
The bottom of the feet have many different nerve endings, approximately 7,000 (basically meridians) that directly link to different organs within the body.

They are very powerful electrical circuits within the body and are often dormant because we wear shoes and don’t get accupuncture done to help the meridians or nerves in any way. This is why I recommend walking outside barefoot! To stimulate those meridians on the bottom of your feet as well as to ground yourself with the earth’s negative ion field.

One of the coolest ways to open up these electrical pathways (meridians) and to help purify your internal organs without doing anything internal (diet related) is to cut up onions or garlic and put them in your socks (at the bottom part of your feet) while sleeping.
Onions and garlic are known air purifiers and when applied to the skin topically they kill germs and bacteria but also the phosphoric acid (the substance from onions that makes you cry when you cut them open) enters the bloodstream it helps to purify the blood and kill any bacteria or germs that may be festering waiting to give you the flu.
Some people go so far as to say to never reuse an onion because it will collect germs and bacteria and then you’re eating that. I am not sure if this is true or not because it’s a percentage of people that say it is, and some that say it isn’t! What I do know though is that the onions do age (oxidize, age from oxygen) on the layer that’s cut open and eating oxidized food isn’t the freshest and healthiest form of that food, so cutting that layer off before you eat the onion may be smart to avoid eating germ or bacteria infested layer of onion.
So it’s fairly simple, here are the two steps to purify your blood, and kill germs and bacteria.

Step 1: Cut Up Organic Onions Into Slices (White or Red Onions)

You’ll want to use organic onions because they will be free of pesticides and other chemicals you don’t want sitting on your feet and entering your bloodstream all night. You’ll just want to cut the onions into flat slices so that they can be applied to the bottom of your entire foot (like a platform) so the bottom of your feet are immersed with onion while you sleep.

Step 2: Put The Onions In Your Sock Under Your Foot (on the bottom) And Sleep!

As you sleep the natural healing powers of the onion will go to work through your skin (trans-dermal application) purifying your blood and killing bacteria and germs as well as absorbing toxins! It will also help to purify the air in your room.
You’ll benefit from the air purifying effects as well! In England, during plagues they would chop up onions and leave them in the room to purify the air and to help them not be susceptible to infections, the flu or anything that may harm them.
As you can see here in the picture below the organs and systems within the body and their meridian connection points in the foot.

Here are the benefits of cutting up an onion and putting it in your sock (at the bottom) while you sleep…
1. Purify your blood: Phosphoric acid from the onions as it’s applied and absorbed through trans-dermal means purifies the blood.
2. Kills bacteria, germs and pathogens: Onions (and garlic) have strong anti-bacterial and anti-viral benefits!
3. Purify the air: This little chamber of smelly onion around your feet will purify the air and keep your feet smelling better and free of toxins and chemicals pulling them out of your feet while you sleep.

45 Things I Would Tell My Younger Self

Here is an inspiring and very heartfelt list of 45 things most of us would tell our younger selves, given the chance. It was written by blogger Bret Love of GreenGlobalTravel on his 45th birthday. TheMirrorPost taken this article from wisdompills.com

1) You’re good enough. Anyone who tells you different is just a jerk.
2) If you want something, ask. The worst anyone can say is no.
3) Patience and persistence ultimately pay off. But they usually do so very slowly.
4) Don’t let anyone ever tell you your dreams are out of reach. Only YOU know your full potential.
5) Dreams are nothing without action. Dream it, then DO it!
6) Fear is a wolf. Chase the wolf, and you’ll never be afraid of the things you once feared.
7) Smile more, worry less. Positivity is infectious.
8) Life is called a “rat race,” but remember that it’s a marathon and not a sprint.
9) Don’t ever judge yourself in comparison to others. Instead, judge yourself against what you know you’re capable of.
10) Love is all you need. But sometimes even love is not enough. Know when to say “when.”
11) You can’t change anyone, except yourself. Conversely, be wary of anyone who tries to change you to suit their ideal.
12) Write things down. You’ll be amazed how many great ideas you forget!
13) Celebrate your victories in life… even the small ones.
14) Don’t think so much. Sometimes it’s OK to just BE.
15) Don’t worry about getting knocked down. Instead, focus on getting back up as quickly as possible.
16) The family you’re born with ultimately isn’t as important as the family you choose. Choose wisely!
17) The people who truly love you don’t see all the flaws you see. Learn to see yourself through their eyes.
18) The scars you can’t see are worse than those you can. Heal them, and you’ll heal yourself.
19) It’s OK to test the waters, but don’t be afraid to jump in.
20) Happiness isn’t a destination, but a lifelong  journey. When in doubt, just keep swimming.
21) Don’t look for a partner who makes you happy; look for one who makes you want to be your best self.
22) Treat life as an adventure. On their deathbeds, people usually regret the things they DIDN’T do.
23) The road less traveled is not always easy, but it’s never boring.
24) Don’t wait to learn from your own mistakes. Watch, listen, and learn from the mistakes of others.
25) Once you admit that you truly know nothing, life’s real education begins.
26) It’s great to have goals. Just remember that there’s always more than one path to achieving them.
27) Parenthood isn’t that difficult. Ask yourself, “What would I have wanted my parents to do?” And then do that.
28) Nobody ever made history by playing it safe. Be bold!
29) Never stop learning. Learning= growth= youth.
30) Karma is circular. Put out into the Universe the positive energy you seek in return.
31) Enjoy the frivolity of youth while you can, for it will be gone sooner than you think.
32) You’re never quite as smart as you think you are, nor as rich or thin as you want to be.
33) Don’t let the highs get too high or the lows get too low. The key to happiness lies in the balance.
34) Never forget where you come from. Let the past keep you grounded and humble.
35) Don’t let failure get you down. Look for the learning opportunity in every bad situation.
36) If you don’t have passion for what you’re doing, do something else instead. Life’s too short to work “just for the money.”
37) When a door closes, leave it closed. There’s always an open window just around the corner.
38) “I can’t” becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. In truth, you’ll never know until you try.
39) Listen to all advice and criticism that comes your way, but know when to ignore it completely.
40) Take your work seriously, but not yourself.
41) Take time to think before you speak, because you can’t take words back. In moments of heightened tension, think twice.
42) Happiness isn’t just the most important thing in life; it’s the only thing that matters.
43) Invest yourself only in those willing to invest themselves in you. Toxic people and “takers” will suck your energy dry.
44) Learn to accept the unconditional love you deserve, and to give it tenfold in return.
45) No matter how old you are, it’s never too late to live the life you’ve always wanted.

Inspiring Story of How Rihanna Got Her Amazing Fame Will Shock You And Make You Love Her Even More.

From an addicted Father, a Separated Family, Brother's responsibility like a mum at 14, to facing bullies and discrimination because of her skin color are not all she had to face conquering life.

She is undoubtedly one of the most famous women in the world right now. She had no fame that came from her family or that of someone she later engaged to. The odds against Rihanna would have discouraged a less headstrong woman. Her childhood was full of struggle and pain, abuse and drug use, poverty and illness.

But at 16, her audition made even Jay Z take notice of the young Barbadian named Robyn Rihanna Fenton. Nearly 10 years later, Rihanna has won eight Grammys, released seven albums (with an eighth rumored to drop soon) and earned a spot as the first female with four No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 in a single year. She's been on a hot streak as long as her own career.

Just last week, she was named the first black spokeswoman for Dior. On Monday, Dreamworks released two Rihanna songs for the animated movie Home. She also provides the voicefor the lead.

None of that came easily, though. A decade into her career, Rihanna's story is one of ferocious battles and hard-earned victory.

A difficult family:

Rihanna was born in Barbados in 1988 to Ronald Fenty, who ran a garment warehouse, and Monica Braithwaite, an accountant. Along with her younger brother, Rihanna grew up in a troubled home. Her father was an alcoholic and a crack addict; Rihanna recounted to Rolling Stone that he beat her mother and once hit her as well.

It was a constant source of stress in her life. When Rihanna was 8, she started suffering intense headaches that led a doctor to think she might have a tumor. But at 14, when her parents finally divorced after years of on-and-off separation, Rihanna's headaches stopped. After the divorce, Braithwaite worked full time and Rihanna took over as her younger brother's caretaker

"I grew up fast, kind of like the second mom," Rihanna told the Guardian.

Discrimination:

Though her home life improved, Rihanna was still bullied at school for her light complexion. Her father was descendant of a Barbadian-Irish group known as "Redlegs," a term used for poor, white residents of Barbados. According to Allure, Rihanna fought the kids in school who teased her for being too white; the bullying lent to Rihanna's reputation for being painfully shy. But she was tough too: As a teenager, Rihanna was in the army cadets and actually reached the rank of corporal. She was a self-proclaimed tomboy, and joined the cadets to show guys she was tough. Her drill sergeant was none other than fellow Barbadian pop singer Shontelle

"This thick skin has been developing since my first day at school," Rihanna told Harper's Bazaar. "It didn't happen after fame; I couldn't survive fame if I didn't already have it. So sometimes the toughest thing in life is to be vulnerable."

Her gift:

Though she was shy, Rihanna won her high school beauty pageant at 15 for singing Mariah Carey's "Hero." She loved to sing so much — at the beach, at the club, around the house — that her neighbors called her "Robyn Red Breast." According to Rolling Stone, "She always knew she wanted to be a pop star."

"I kind of laughed at these stupid pageants," she told the Daily Mail in 2007. "But my friends at school dared me to do it, and my military training came in handy for learning to balance books on my head for the catwalk."

Striking gold:

Not long after winning that beauty pageant, a 16-year-old Rihanna caught the eye of a vacationing American record producer, Evan Rogers, during an audition organized by the producer. He knew he'd found someone big. Within months, Rihanna had left Barbados and moved into Rogers' Connecticut home with him and his wife. In Connecticut, Rogers and Rihanna recorded a demo featuring a version of "Pon de Replay."

"When I left Barbados, I didn't look back," Rihanna told People magazine. "I wanted to do what I had to do, even [if] it meant moving to America."

Rogers sent the demo tape to labels around the country, and it landed on the desk of then-newly appointed Def Jam president Jay Z. At just 16 years old, Rihanna was summoned by the hip-hop legend to audition for a spot on the label. She performed Whitney Houston's "For the Love of You" at the Def Jam offices.

"I signed her in one day," Jay-Z told Rolling Stone. "It took me two minutes to see she was a star."

Sudden fame:

In May 2005, four months after she signed to Def Jam, Rihanna released her first single, "Pon de Replay." The song peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, and helped put Rihanna's first album, Music of the Sun, on the map. Eight months later, she released A Girl Like Me, and in June 2007, Rihanna released "Umbrella," which reached No. 1 on the chart, making the singer a bona fide pop star off a song originally written for Mary J. Blige. It's hard to imagine anyone else doing it so well.

Today, Rihanna is 27, and from the looks of it, she's just getting started. Already a philanthropistfashion icon andactor, she has overcome seemingly insurmountable odds to become one of the most powerful celebrities in the world.

"It's amazing how lonely you can feel and like nobody understands," Rihanna told Oprah. "The moment you are vulnerable, someone always reaches out. They go through the same things. I want them to feel comfortable knowing that I have flaws as well. I want them to know those flaws. I'm afraid of the pedestal. I want to be a peer to my fans."

Rihanna's story is inspiring. It reveals that, when she hits those resilient notes, they're coming from an authentic place.

4 Natural Ways To Regrow Hair In 10 Days

Losing your hair can be a nightmare. Whether it’s for medical reasons or genetics it can be devastating to see skin where you used to see hair.

Here are some remedies to help regrow your hair starting in about 10 days:
Many people ask friends or their doctors about treatments for hair loss without success, none of the suggested treatments work. So what’s the solution? The first thing to figure out is the root cause of the hair loss.
There are several causes of hair loss including hormonal imbalance, vitamin deficiencies, stress, insomnia, thyroid issues, smoking, genetics, and menopause. The hair products you use and the way you care for your hair can also cause hair loss.
There is no solution for menopause or genetics but you can slow hair loss. For other causes try this:
• Meditate
If you want your hair back you can take 10 minutes from your busy schedule to meditate. This will lower your stress and improve your overall health. Put your phone on airplane mode or silent and set it aside, sit straight with crossed legs and close your eyes, focusing on your breath. Feel it go in and out. Let thoughts come and go. Relax through them and keep breathing.
• Food you should eat
If you are getting enough sleep and are not stressed try exploring your eating habits. Make sure you are getting enough iron, proteins, vitamins, minerals, and omega-3s. Your daily diet should contain the following:
• 10 servings of vegetables
• 2-4 servings of fruits
• 4-5 total servings of beans and dairy or 2-3 servings of lean meat
• Eggs, fish, nuts, walnuts, avocado, and seeds
• Don’t eat the same thing every day. Plan some variety into your menu to keep you satisfied and get different nutrients.
• Massage
Head massage is necessary to promote hair growth. Use your fingertips and massage your scalp slowly to stimulate circulation and help drain toxins. Finish the massage by running your fingers through your hair. You can do this with or without oil, but it’s suggested to use coconut, castor, olive, almond, or sesame. Massage for 10 minutes each day to see improvement.
• Homemade recipe
Try the following recipe made with three key ingredients; licorice, burdock root, and dandelion root to regain hair growth:
Ingredients:
• 4 ounces water
• Licorice root
• Burdock root
• Dandelion root
Directions:
• Rub the licorice in a glass then fill it halfway with water.
• Rub the dandelion and burdock root with a stone or in a food processor into a fine paste.
• Blend the paste with licorice water and apply to your scalp.
• Leave it on your head for 24 hours then wash it off, it will stick to your scalp like white cement.

8 Definite Signs Your Woman Truly Loves You.

Via: positivemed.com

Sure, she says she loves you, but words are cheap. Short of seeing her reaction when you ask her for one of her kidneys, is there any way to tell whether she’s really feeling that love? Thanks to science and a little bit of psychology, there is!

She loves the way you smell
. Do you catch her burying her nose in your pillow after you get out of bed? Or does she reel in disgust when you skip your shower? If you’re sure you’ve been laying off the garlic but she’s still turning up her nose at you, you may have trouble. Studies have shown that women use the sense of smell in determining a life partner.

She’s happy for your successes. A woman who celebrates with you when your life goes well is truly invested in you and your future together. Does she belittle your accomplishments? That’s a sign of resentment. Not good.
She’s always touching you. Does she have trouble keeping her hands off you? Touching, especially non-sexual touching like smoothing your hair or leaning against your shoulder, is a sign she cares deeply for you. It makes her happy to know you’re within reach.
She actually means it when she asks how your day went. A person in love wants to empathize with the object of her affection. Knowing every little detail of your day helps her strengthen her connection to you.
She doesn’t snoop through your stuff. If her love is in doubt, she may find herself looking through your phone or browsing history for excuses to leave you. But a woman who gives you your privacy is willing to trust you. Trust is one of the strongest signs of love.
She constantly brings you up in conversations with others. You might have to go to mutual friends to figure this one out. If she talks about you a lot, it means she can’t stop thinking about you. Of course, if she’s just complaining about you, that’s another story.
She likes to share her food with you. Love creates a chemical in our bodies called oxytocin, and studies have shown that oxytocin increases generosity (as well as trust; see above). That doesn’t mean your true love won’t get annoyed when you steal all her french fries, but if she likes to offer you bites, that is a sign her oxytocin is flowing.
She’s there when you need her. This may seem obvious, but it’s also one of the most important. It’s easy to be with someone when everything is fun and the sun is shining. When life gets rough, though, a woman who really loves you won’t be saying sayonara and riding off into the sunset. She’ll want to go through it with you. That’s true love.

7 Morning Habits Of Healthy & Happy People.

Do you consider yourself a morning person? Studies suggest morning people tend to be happier and even healthier. But you don't have to be morning person to develop simple habits that can help you have a more balanced and productive day.
When I was stuck in a corporate career and diagnosed with clinical depression, I would dread waking up in the morning. It meant going into a job I hated and suffering through another long day. I realized my unhappiness was part of a choice that was manufactured by my routine and daily habits.

So I studied happy and healthy people and learned what they did. As it turns out, a lot of our happiness can be traced to our habits, which start from the moment we wake up.
Today my life is much different from when I was that sad girl who relied on her snooze button. I've developed key morning routines that shifted my entire day, transforming my life.
Waking up can be difficult if you don't have something to look forward to. If you find yourself feeling stuck in life, it could be as simple as shifting and switching up some of your morning routines.
Here are seven habits practiced by the healthiest and happiest people I know.
1. They speak kindly to themselves
Instead of waking up and thinking negative thoughts about how much they ate the night before or how they failed to meet a goal, or how frustrated they are that they aren't where they think they should be in life, they simply celebrate where they are with kind and compassionate thoughts.
2. They listen to their bodies
The happiest and healthiest people I know don't have a strict morning routine, but instead listen to their bodies and let them guide them. Some mornings their bodies may say, "Today, it will feel good to work out early and drink fresh green juice." While other mornings it may say, "Push snooze one more time." Instead of feeling guilty for their choices or thinking their morning has to look a certain way, they trust themselves and let their bodies' needs lead them.
3. They focus on what they want instead of what they don't want.
Happy people focus on what they want by picturing it in their head and taking steps to achieve it. Instead of wasting precious energy on what isn't working or what they don't want, they commit to a better future by imagining what they want.
4. They leave yesterday in the past.
Most people wake up and start to run through a list of the mistakes, mishaps or problems from the day before. This prevents you from fully moving forward into a positive day. Instead, go to bed each night and say to yourself, "For today, I did the best I could and it is enough. Tomorrow, I will do it again." Then when you wake, you will feel more grounded and balanced to start fresh again.
5. They align with their purpose and higher power.
Connected to a higher power daily. Whether it's a solid gratitude practice, prayer, meditation, journal writing or focused intent, they connect by giving thanks and aligning with love. Sometimes a higher power is a sense of community orgroup of people with similar interests.
6. They ask themselves key questions.
Starting your day with focused intent will help you be more productive and feel accomplished. Steve Jobs said, "For the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today? And whenever the answer has been no for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something." Being strategic with your day will help you live a more fulfilled life.
7. They do what they want to do, not what they have to do.
Healthy and happy people know the most important thing is how they feel, so naturally they don't do anything that makes them feel uncomfortable, nor do they force anything. If things aren't flowing, they go in a new direction. They allow themselves to be who they are and trust the rhymes of their own life, free of society's pressure and standards. True happiness can only come when we let ourselves do what feels right for us. Trusting yourself is the best way to reach lasting fulfillment.

10 Good Reasons To Never Throw The Used Tea Bags Away Again.

Most people know that drinking tea is extremely beneficial for our health. However, very few people know how to make it also benefit their pocket.

The secret lies in the reuse that tea bags have! Keep reading and you'll be surprised by how many uses, used tea bags can have, even though most people treat them like waste

The Top 10 Alternative Uses Of Tea Bags

1. Sooth puffy and tired eyes - the most common use of tea bags.

Staring at a computer, reading, watching, almost everything we do daily challenges our eyes. Tea helps relieve redness and swelling and refreshes tired eyes. Put the tea bags in ice-cold water or simply pour on water and leave in the refrigerator. We suggest you use them at bedtime, while resting your eyes. This is pretty much all you need, with absolutely no cost.

2. Tea bags help with sweaty feet.

Soak your feet in luke warm tea prepared with used tea bags before bedtime for 15 minutes and wipe with a clean towel.

3. Minimize the effect of bruising. Tannic acid, contained mostly in black tea, has the ability to restrict swelling by constricting the blood vessels.

Apply a fresh, cooled bag of black tea on your trauma and leave for 20 minutes. For better results repeat once more during the day.

4. Tea bags are a remedy for minor sunburn.

Wet tea bags ease the pain of sunburns. If bigger areas of your body are affected, try to take a cool bath adding several tea bags to the water.

5. Tea bags help with razor cuts. Wet tea bags sooth pain from razor cuts.

Use a cooled tea bag to stop the bleeding and reduce skin damage with the helpful antioxidants found in tea.

6. Tea bags help with acne. Wipe your face with used green tea bag.

Before you rub a tea bag on your skin, wash and rinse the skin with a hypoallergenic cleanser. Apply the cooled tea bag on the skin and let it stand for 10-15 minutes. Rooibos tea is one of the best options for acne treatment. Rooibos, also known as Red Bush, is a plant native to South Africa and has been used in the local traditional medicine for centuries.

7. Tea bags help with oral hygiene.

Speed up the healing process of painful sores in your mouth by slightly biting onto a tea bag soaked in water.

8. Tea bags can freshen your breath. Bad breath usually is due to a number of reasons such as eating smoking, dry mouth or other medical conditions.

Bad breath is caused primarily by the bacteria on the back of your tongue or between your teeth. Both green and black tea can stop the growth of the bacteria. Rinsing with strong brewed tea reduces the unpleasant smell from the mouth. Use 2 or more used tea bags to prepare a new cup of tea. Let it come to room temperature and the use to clean your mouth. For better result repeat daily after meals.

9. Tea bags effectively absorb unpleasant odors.

Tea can help reduce unpleasant smell of hands such as fish or garlic. In addition, tea bags can be used inside the fridge or you can stick them in the trash can. You can also use them in ashtrays to reduce smell. An other idea is to stick dry tea bags with lavender flavor or other herbal tea of your choice in the seat covers of your car to get a natural air freshener.

10. Tea bags could be used for washing dishes, especially if you are allergic to soaps or other detergents.

No matter how strange it sounds, tea does have cleaning properties. Using a bunch of re-brewed tea bags, you can easily remove dirt or grease from mirrors, windows, floors, kitchen counters or other wooden furniture. Remember that after cleaning, make sure to dry the surface, because tea is also a good natural dye!
